Today is a stormy day. Thunderstorms! There's a hurricane (Rita) approaching the east coast (keys) and there are thunderstorms here in LA, moving towards Las Vegas. Exciting weather outside--I am just being lazy inside.
Yesterday, I finished the "Hellboy: The Chained Coffin and Others" comic book that Clay lent me. It was great! Then, I spent a long time reading "The Story of Mankind" (by Van Loon). I have read the book several times, but it is something that I always like to go back to.
Last night, I spoke with Vincent for a while. We will meet next week, on Thursday.
This week, on Thursday (the day after tomorrow), I will meet Akane (Kobayashi), who called me out of the blue and wants to meet with me. I was amazed that she would call because she was just my student for a few days and she was the only person from Poly to call me!! We will meet and have dinner with her friend.
This morning, I got a call from Jeong Hun (Shin). It was nice to talk to him. His sister is in Korea, that is why she was not answering her phone. She is in Korea for Chusok (the Korean Thanksgiving). She will be back in about a month.
Chusok is this weekend. I am supposed to go to a Korean festival with MiHye. I hope that we can.
Today, since it is raining, I will not be able to go out anywhere in the afternoon. That's ok. I have a lot of stuff to do at home.
Kiyomi's EX-boyfriend will be in town from today until Monday of next week. I may meet with him and their Korean friend, Don.
Koichiro has been in his room most of the week, trying to recover from his jetlag.
Clay is at home drawing, I expect.
